The Start of Something Ours
The Eritrean Ethiopian Union for Academic Excellence (EEUAE) was created to make success more accessible for students like us. We are a student-led community focused on connection, guidance, and growth through education and mentorship.
For too long, many of us have had to figure out the academic system on our own. Information is scattered, opportunities are hard to find, and support often comes only after we need it. EEUAE exists to change that. Our goal is to bring everything students need for academic and professional success into one place and make it easier to reach.
What We’re Building
Academic Resources
We are building tools that help students plan ahead and stay on track. Our Scholarship Database, SAT/ACT Prep Materials, and AP Prep Guides give students access to the same kind of resources that make a real difference in college readiness. Our College Application Breakdown, written in English, Amharic, and Tigrinya, walks students step-by-step through what to do from ninth grade to twelfth grade.
Professional Growth
We know success goes beyond the classroom. Our Internship Database helps students find real opportunities to explore their interests. Coming soon, we will launch Resume and Cover Letter Templates, a Free Resume Editing Service, and LinkedIn Optimization Workshops in Tigrinya, Amharic, and English. Every student should have the tools to grow professionally, no matter where they start.
Language Learning
Language connects us to who we are. Our English, Amharic, and Tigrinya Learning Playlists help students strengthen communication skills while staying close to their culture and community.
Publication Co.
EEUAE’s Publication Co. is where student voices come to life. Every week, we publish a new article or paper written by students. Each piece is edited by our team and shared publicly once approved. To highlight creativity and leadership, we post a Writer Spotlight on our Instagram page every week.
Competitions and Scholarships
We are developing competitions and scholarships that highlight excellence within our own community. From pitch and STEM challenges to writing awards, each program will be supported by sponsors who believe in our mission. Awards will be named in their honor, and winners will be celebrated across our platforms. These opportunities will help fund future projects and inspire more students to step forward.
